Description
Flowmotion was an early 1980’s British electronic and experimental music magazine and label founded by Ian Dobson, and Gordon A. Hope based in Leeds. It was an independent label responsible for some early ’80s minimal synth / Industrial / avant-garde and experimental releases and also distributed Throbbing Gristle’s cassettes.Although they did issue the occasional LP, the majority of their releases were on cassette. These catalogues are great period piece, perfectly illustrating how underground music was distributed in the early 1980s.
